Last summer, while chatting with a friend who just had a knee surgery, I was struck by the complexity of her recovery plan. The myriad doctors involved, their notes scattered across different systems, each holding a piece of her medical history. As she recounted the frustrating back-and-forth to access her own health data, I couldn't help but think: there has to be a better way. This realization led me to explore how blockchain could streamline and secure healthcare data management.
